The Yemeni Community Association in Sandwell has become one of the first organisations in Sandwell to work in partnership with the police to work pro-actively around the reporting of HATE CRIME. The Yousef Project – Sandwell Muslim Youth Forum is a newly established group of Young Muslims that seek to represent, advocate and lobby on behalf of young Muslim people in Sandwell. The group has been established in conjunction with the YCA, SMBC, Tipton Muslim Centre and Smethwick Pakistani Muslim Association. Vice Chair of the YCA in Sandwell, Saleh Saeed has been bestowed with the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contribution to humanitarian work.
